I like the way it charges the battery with the pulse power first so that you get the quickest use of the next battery and then charges each battery with the next amount of power second, and then lowest power third. 5 |

This 550W PS is sufficient for all but the highest end single GPU builds, particularly with more power efficient nVidia cards. My unit arrived in just a few days, and packaging was superb. A power cord and cables ties were included. The PS performs without a hitch in my build (i5-8600k, nVidia GPU, 3 drives), and it is near silent even when gaming or rendering video. I have had great service from SeaSonic PS units in the past and expect no less from this one based on initial setup and performance. 5 |

This card replaced an RTX 2070. It is larger, requiring some rearrangement of real estate in the case, but I was able to use the same power supply and power connectors because the new card is more power efficient. Bottom line: it was an easy upgrade for +138% graphics performance. The games I used to run on minimal graphics with the GPU at 100% can now run at maximum graphics with the GPU at 80%. This was the exact convergence of price, performance, and ease of upgrade I was looking for. Definitely worth considering. 5 |

This unit has plenty of CPU and GPU power to handle current games and stays silent even when playing with high frame rates in ultra settings. My only advice is to go into the bios and unlock the XMP profile for the RAM, which has been disabled by HP for whatever reason. Other than that I'm very happy with my purchase, even more so as it was on sale when I bought it. 5 |
