Lucid X 72 Digital Projector Screen

I bought this to use with a new digital projector. When I give presentations regarding my newly published book about fossilized animals in rock formations in Colorado, I needed a screen that gives me a 16:9 ratio. Using this to decode an NDI source to a projector in Church services with live stream. We previously were sending the Presentation Laptops screen to the OBS computer via NDI, and used a separate proprietary wireless video feed to the main projector. Got this so we can use the same NDI source for both and eliminate the wireless projector feed. It is working well. One thing to be aware of: the projector will display will go blank in a couple of seconds if there is no video and audio activity when using NDI Screen Capture as the source. This can be an issue during power points with static screens. You can set the decoder to keep the last thing displayed on the screen or allow it to go blank. I prefer it to go blank so I know something is wrong right away. You can also resolve by making sure the NDI Screen Capture is using an active audio source (like the microphone). This decoder has been reliable and is reasonably priced. Perhaps other decoders won't have the inactivity issue but they are also more expensive. This has not been a show stopper for us.

This thing worked great. This is just what I needed to get my screen up and another screen to my projector up at the same time in my sanctuary. This was great.

We decided to purchase this scanner instead of sinking money into a refurbished slide projector. It was the best decision. In addition to capturing a digital file of all of my grandfather and great-grandfathers slides, we now have digital images of all their negatives and pictures for which no slides existed. The scanner and the software were easy to use and intuitive. Best purchase in the last year!

We will use this case for a large digital projector and it is perfect. The right size, light and easy to wheel. The cubed foam was easy to fit to size. Excellent case.

There are very few people who still view their 35mm slides with a projector. The best solution is to convert them to digital and archive the slides in a permanent safe protective file. Slide trays and Carosels are too bulky for something not likely to be used again. the solution is the Logan Slide File. An all metal compact tray with a securely latching lid. It holds 750 2x2 slides with markable dividers. This is the best slide storage solution I have found. I can be stored in a minimal space.

I do lectures where I need to stand at a podium at the front of the room, and have my digital projector some distance away. This cable gives me the freedom to set up in a variety of different rooms, without worry about distance. It is very sturdy, and the video is just as good as from a short cable. I would certainly recommend it to anyone needing to extend the distance between their laptop and projector.
