I bought this for a Panasonic Lumix_DMC-LX3, which has detachable lenses and filters. The pick and pluck foam makes it very easy to customize and provides very good protection. The case is well-made and sturdy, yet lightweight. I looked at several brands and felt that the build (especially the clasps), was much better on this than on comparably priced Pelican cases. Make sure you get the right size: The first one I bought was too small.

I bought one of these for a Lumix DMC-LX3. Based on that purchase I bought another one for my Zoom H6. The build is excellent: study but lightweight. The pick and pluck padding is perfect for customizing the interior for specific devices.

I use this for a Lumix LX3 plus the additional lenses, charger, filters, etc. If you plan well, you can make the most of the space. The foam is very easy to remove as needed. I prefer the clasps, handle, and overall build on this to any of the Pelicans.

LX3 makes just 200-300 photos with 1 battery.

I purchased the FL-36R to use with my Panasonic LX3 camera. This Olympus flash allows full TTL control with the LX3 and my results have been outstanding. I wasn't sure the FL-36R was going to provide the bounce power I needed and had also considered the Olympus FL-50R. I finally decided on the FL-36R because the LX3 is a VERY small camera and the FL-50R is considerably larger than the FL36R. I have taken photos in very large rooms, with high ceilings and the FL36 has always had plenty of power. For anyone buying the FL-36R (or the FL50R for that matter), I would HIGHLY recommend also purchasing the Olympus FLRA-1 Reflector Adapter unit. The FLRA-1 diverts a small part of the bounce light directly toward the subject, to even out shadows and provide a catch-light in the subject's eyes. The combination works VERY well!

Needed a more powerful bounce flash for my LX3, but didn't want to spend the premium Panasonic wanted for their version. Since this flash handled TTL mode perfectly, the only thing I needed to deal with was explaining why I had an Olympus flash on a Panasonic camera. Recycle time is decent using Eneloops, camera controls flash output so the right amount is always sent out. Only thing it doesn't do on my LX3 is eliminate the Pre-AF light and use the one on the FR-36R. Oh, it also doesn't take advantage of the FL-36R's built in remotely controlled feature, but that's not a big deal because I'll just switch to my D90 if I need anything that requires an off-camera flash. Overall, perfect addition (along with a Sto-fen diffuser, which is the same exact model for my Nikon SB-600). Looks a little bulky on an LX3, but what bounce flash doesn't?

I use it to power a Lumix BGH1 camera.

I have not had it for long enough to know about long-term durability, but it seems interchangeable with the battery that came with my Panasonic LX3 in every way.

I bought this to protect a lumix camera of mine and it's perfect!

I thought this might be too large for my LX3 but after receiving and using the wrist strap, I will never go back to using the small, OEM straps again. The neoprene is extremely comfortable, and the quick release is robust enough that I have no doubt it will never release accidentally. This is an excellent product and easily worth the small price of admission.
