Lynx Solar Weatherproof Outdoor Surveillance Camera

Love these cameras, I have 4 of them now. They perform exactly as advertised. I only wish they were outdoor and weatherproof 5 |

I got this to have a second power bank to switch out with so as to always have a charged power bank to rely on; as well, I needed one that would stand up to rain and outdoor use. Of all the power banks out there, this particular one is a no-brainer. In addition to its rugged build and weather proofing, it can be solar powered in a pinch, although I have not had a chance to test that yet. ToughTested does make an identical charger with two panels that charges as fast as plugging into the wall, but I wanted this simpler design to be able to attach to a backpack to double as a hands-free, pedestrian safety device when walking at night. The 18-light panel really lights up! The item looks exactly as pictured and it is well-built with a nice weatherproof strip that seals off the charging ports. The only caveat about this item's weatherproofing is that, although it works fine as a lamp in the rain: I would not want to actively charge something while out in the elements. In order to charge something off of this device, you need to remove the weatherproof strip to do so, effectively exposing the interior of the item when being used to charge another device. It still gets five stars, however, because the build quality, tremendously useful, weatherproof lamp, and its ability to power up via solar; there isn't another power bank out there that can do what this can do for its price. Unfortunately, I should have gotten two, because another family member saw this powerbank and snagged it faster than you can say: Say cheese! He has a twelve-mile walk to work on busy roads without sidewalks, so he's excused from absconding with it, but now I need another, LOL! So, just get two, especially if you have any gear-savvy aficionados in the house! 5 |

I purchased the Lynx 45 to carry my camera, lens, and other gear when travelling. I found that my D5600, three zoom lens, 5 filters, wireless remote release, and all my miscellaneous gear (such as lens cleaning cloths and filter wrenches all fit into the lower compartment easily. That leaves the upper compartment for storage of a light windbreaker, rain poncho and anything else such as snacks, etc. The ability to configure the pack as a backpack or slingpack will be handy depending on the type and length of my trips. I have tried both configurations and they work well for me. The only thing I would change is the width of the front opening flap in the lower compartment. However, it would put more stress on the zippers (closer to the edges). 5 |

I'm using it for concerts, where it improves footage that previously looked more like a surveillance camera! 5 |

Great to carry in a pocket, while doing outdoor portraits blocks solar flair. The bag can be used under a knee to keep the subjects knee clean while kneeling for you. The silver gives fill while photographing small objects on a hike, like flowers and leaves. Very handy, no matter your experience level! 5 |
