I put Samsung 1TB 970 EVO NVMe M.2 Internal SSD on it for disk cloning, it works great.

Upgraded my mini PC from SanDisk 1TB X400 M.2 2280 to the Samsung 2TB 970 EVO Plus M.2 2280, and installed the old SanDisk SSD in the bundled Xcellon USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C M.2 SSD Enclosure for local backups and other temp data transfers. Everything works great. Happy!

I cloned my 500mg SSD boot drive to this 1tb m.2 drive with Samsung cloning software. All went smoothly and now everything loads much faster. A very worthwhile upgrade.

The installation is simple; you will a motherboard or laptop with a capable NVMe supported M.2 slot. You can need to remove laptop back cover; you will need to be careful about that. Samsung has also highlighted Intelligent TurboWrite 2.0 technology which delivers 5 times the buffer size. That means under large workload will not decline the performance. This SSD is also built-in advanced thermal control solutions allow for the drive to perform well at cool temperatures. It is important for me, and I plan to use this SSD to build my AI training server system. Overall, this SSD is fastest SSD I can find from the market, and it has all-new Elpis controller, backwards-compatibility with PCIe 3.0, and NVMe 1.3 support. It is target for gaming user, but, it is also good for my AI training server.

I have a top of the line gaming laptop it had two m.2 ssd's and a one TB mechanical hdd and after having it a while I needed more room. I have never had any issues with the Samsung product line so I bought this SSD and wow my computer runs like new again and with two terabytes of disk space it has room again. Thanks to Samsung for such a great product and the price was great to.

I am using this enclosure with the PNY Technologies CS1030 1TB M.2 NVMe SSD for my Macbook Pro as an external SSD for photo file storage. The enclosure is well built and feels sturdy. Assembly was incredibly easy and took about 30 seconds. I am normally saving 5-10GB of data to the drive at a time and the enclosure barely gets warm. I am extremely happy with both of these products and it was less than buying an off-the-shelf SSD drive. Using the Black Magic disk speed test, I am getting Write/Read speeds of 892Mbps / 528Mbps. This is with the drive about 10% full. The read speed seems to slow down slightly as the memory fills up. I believe it was closer to 800Mbps when the drive was empty.

This is a great option for anyone needing a 1TB NVMe M.2 internal SSD at a reasonable price. I picked up two on sale and they work perfectly. I'd not hesitate to buy another.

I bought this enclosure to clone my stock SSD to a Samsung Evo 850 M.2 1 TB SSD. Combining with the freely downloaded Samsung Data Migration that works exclusively with Samsung products, the process was flawless and easy. This enclosure was perfect for the job. It's got a solid metal build, vents for cooling, and a connection that works with USB 3.1 or even 3.0 if you don't have 3.1. I turned the previous M.2 I had into a mini-portable external drive, with ridiculous transfer speeds like at about 300MB/sec. Oh, and here is an LED light on the bottom that indicates it is being used! This is a great enclosure. =
