M2 Ultra Vs M3 Max

The new Apple 16 MacBook Pro (M3 Max, Space Black) is the fastest MacBook Pro yet with the M3 Max setup. I went with 64 GB Memory and 2 TB Storage. The new Space Black is very cool as well. This new MacBook replaces my 1-1/2 year old M2 Max with same memory and storage. I would have to run benchmarks to tell the difference. The M2 Max was also blazing fast.

what else can i say, M3 max, dealing 4k footage is easy

I'm on my third rx10, m1,m2,m3 now m4 I still have the m2 my wife loves it. As a world travelers these cameras perform my other travel camera is the rx100m4 I came from Nikon and a few Canon no problems but Sony RX10s has them beat for easy and no problem travel shooting. You can't fool around to get the right shot if you are worried about lens etc. It all about happy shots. Make calls with your phone make a memory with a camera. This camera will do it. Close, far and in low. In light. In addition the clear image zoom at 1200 will blow you away in 90% of the time.

for editing on the go. since the new M3's are out. M2 Pro right now is at a great price for the speed and pro features. definitely a worth it purchase for anyone that edited videos or photos. Or the for the user that wants the horsepower and a MacBook for years to come.

I was originally in the market to get a M2 or M3 MacBook Air, but I eventually came to the conclusion that I really didn’t need it considering the fact that my 2020 MacBook Pro is still in pristine condition. Don’t listen to the YouTube tech reviewers negative opinions about this iPad; it’s great for the average user. I've had the camera a couple weeks now. I also own a M3 and owned a M2. I'm a heavy user. I like the silky smooth shutter and really appreciate the great noise reduction as I often have to shoot in tricky low light situations. The images are great and you can crop without loosing clarity. It's amazing in this respect. I'm still not so sure about the finish, I'm wondering if the M3 finish is more durable.

Why Leica M-A when we have the M3, M2, M6, MP... It is more a philosophical discussion and less a technical one. I am sure there is no possible technical way you can justify creating a new Leica M unless you would dilute the lineage by introducing frivolous digital-type technology. For the film Leica M purist Leica M-A is a completely new camera that is fully mechanical and does not have a meter and needs no batteries - hence it is closer to the M3/M2 in lineage. In my opinion even though it is not different than an MP, if you have, like me, shot used Leicas in the past, this gives you an opportunity to shoot with a brand new M body. Every thing is buttery smooth and it feels like a new M camera - which is an experience probably my dad had when he got his Leica M 35 years back and I never had. That may not mean much in terms of imaging quality as I am sure you can get same images from any of the Leica M bodies with good glass. But considering the big picture it shows that Leica is committed to the film fraternity and is investing in this space. I have the Leica M2, M3 and an M6 and I still got the M-A because it just felt like a modern take on every possible good thing from past Leicas (Like the deviation from the plastic ISO dial at the back to a metal one - small detail but makes the camera look and feel so much better). If we read regular blogger reviews that delve in the technical mumbo jumbo of camera bodies, surely you will come away feeling underwhelmed. I love the pull-up grater style film rewind and some people just hate it. So most of your decision will be based on what you feel the M-A is worth. Technically it is not a better camera than MP or an M3 or even and M2. The Leica M-A has that Je Ne Sais Quoi as the french say - something pleasant but hard to describe. I would recommend going to a Leica store and holding this beauty in your hands - It looks and feels much better in person.

With the release of the new M3 Macbooks, Apple now only carries the base model of this Macbook Air (M2), which comes with 8GB of memory. Since I needed a 16GB version I started looking online. While I found the exact same model sold for the same price from B&H and BestBuy, I ultimately decided to go with B&H because of their focus on customer service and a clear mission.

Super nice SSD. I use it with an M3 Max MacBook Pro and it's lighting fast.
