So far, I have no issues with the magsafe converter. After converting to a newer macbook I was afraid that my old charger would be worthless. To make the problem worse, I knew I would need a second charger to leave at the office. Luckily, I came across this adapter before I bought a second charger! The magnetic connect between eh adapter and the charger is VERY strongI'm not worried that it will accidentally fall off. Otherwise, I wouldn't notice that this wasn't a standard magsafe 2. 5 |

I used to have a usb hub, the laptop charger and a monitor. The new monitor with a single usb-c cable both charges my mac and allows for the monitor connection. The usb hub is there in case i need to connect a usb key or something extra. If it also had a camera and mike built in it would be amazing (i got the camera separately). I'm very happy with it. 5 |

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased as a secondary charger for mac book pro that I can keep in my laptop bag. I was not expecting it to be so large but that is not a deterrent. It makes it convenient for me to navigate on the go with both usb and usb-c outlets. The cords are sturdy and good for travel. One thing I notice is that the charger does tend to run a bit hot when plugged in. Other than that, it is great. 5 |
