I bought this to pair with my new Mac mini M1 and am pleasantly surprised. It came with a cord that plugged into one of the mini's USB A ports and connects to the monitor so that I have three additional USB A connections in the monitor, which allows me to hook up a few more external SSD's without any hassle. The screen is bright, clear with rich color, although when I calibrated the screen with a Datacolor Spyder X Elite, I dialed the brightness down quite a bit. In use, it's a really great screen. I edit photos and do HD video for YouTube and this screen is just fine for what I do at a very modest price. I'm very happy with it. 5 |

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased the Viewsonic TD2455 24" touch monitor in order to upgrade from an older Viewsonic 22" touch monitor. The additional features provided by the TD2455 were beyond my expectations. I use the monitor with a laptop and a docking station in order to see a bigger display. By using the USB-C connection to the monitor and my laptop, I was able to eliminate the docking station and all the wires it entailed. Specifically, the single USB-C connection provides power to my laptop and controls the video and touch functions of the monitor. The monitor also has two built-in downstream USB-A ports. I use one of these ports to plug in the unifying receiver for my full-size wireless keyboard and mouse. I love the new monitor, its beautiful display, and the less clutter resulting from fewer wires needed. My only disappointment is that the USB-C cable was not included in the box with the monitor. I had to purchase it separately. 5 |
