This card is relatively good on energy and has all of the latest Nvidia graphics card capabilities.

I wanted a small form workstation but needed NVIDIA graphics and this is working well for me.

I have been a Mac and Apple user since Apple II days. The iMac Pro is my fourth iMac. The one that it replaces is a late 2015, full house iMac. I use it for processing large still images (Nikon D850) and use it with Adobe CC and Topaz plug-ins. Mine is configured as a mid level iMac Pro with 10 cores and the smaller graphics card, 64GB RAM and 2 TB of solid state memory. I have noticed a dramatic increase in the speed of loading and processing across all of the graphics programs. No noticeable change with word processing or modest spreadsheets. Of course it does not change upload or download times, but installation of upgrades, etc. is much faster after the download. I have had some issues with integrating a LG32HD monitor, but I'm getting those resolved. After updating all of the software and tinkering with the preferences I have eliminated the crashes I used to have with large graphics files. So far, this is a fine machine. An unexpected bonus is how good the internal speakers are.

I use ON1 Photo RAW as my photography software and it is a power hog. The NVIDIA graphics card is able to handle this and other photography programs with lightening speed.

Speeds used with MacBook Pro and Mac Pro are consistent with claimed speeds. The speeds are sustained with large transfers, upwards of 100+ files and 500GB+ each time. If you must, even lots up to 1T+ can be done in under 30 minutes. Totally like the old and discontinued Samsung X5, which was not backward compatible with USB-C only devices, like this Envoy Pro FX. Remember, the slightly faster Envoy Pro EX is not backward compatible.

Don’t know much about graphics cards but I can tell you that this one blows away what I had. Love it.
