Mac Sierra Bluetooth Mouse Issues

In spite of its shortcomings, the Magic Mouse is still the best Bluetooth mouse for the Mac. 5 |

Replaced mouse on Intel Zeon Mac Pro. Added KINIV Bluetooth dongle. Works great! Easy to get touch top used to. Fits hand comfortably. No track ball to get gummed up. 5 |

Both the keyboard and mouse are easy to set up via Bluetooth and the Logi Bolt Receiver. I love how I could customize the keyboard with the Logi Options + Desktop App. It's also easy to have them switch and work with both my personal Mac and work computer (Mac.) the mouse is also very comfy and I don't even need a mousepad for it to work well which is convenient 5 |

I had read some reviews that say this mouse does not work by bluetooth with the Mac Pro laptop. I decided to take a chance anyways and order. It works great by bluetooth. I have to say that I am very happy with my purchase. 5 |

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve gotten used to not using a mouse with my Mac, but my husband and I are planning to buy his dad a laptop for Christmas and he is used to using a mouse, so it was great to have one sent to us. My experience with this wireless gaming mouse was a good one. It was fairly easily to setup: I removed the cover, inserted the included battery, replaced the cover, pushed the button on the bottom to turn on Bluetooth and switched the on/ off switch to on. I went on to my Mac’s Bluetooth settings and immediately found the mouse connected wirh an icon in the shape of a computer mouse, which made it easy to identify. From there, I began to move the mouse and scroll, both of which were smooth and easy. I also like that this mouse has the option to connect via WiFi and/or usb. The instructions were very easy to follow and showed steps with pictures that made it even easier. It also indicated that a wireless charging pad can be purchased to go with this mouse, which I think is a nice touch because if I were to use this long term, I wouldn’t want to have to remember to buy batteries for it. The only thing I didn’t like about this mouse is that the up and down scroll wheel is inverted, but I assume that can be changed in settings. I’ve decided my father-in-law would probably enjoy a mouse similar to this one. My husband said he liked it himself as well, but would prefer a wired mouse. 5 |

I have a 2019 Mac Mini that always had weak bluetooth reception for my mouse & keyboard. I bought is as "refurbished" and this is probably why someone returned it in the first place. Anyway, to get to the point, I ordered 4 solutions from Amazon and this Mini USB adaptor was the only device that fixed my problem. I'm using that same keyboard & mouse to type this review. Even though there wer no instructions on the device, I did plug it in, turn off the Bluetooth reception in the Mac Settings, used a wired mouse to turn Bluetooth back on again and it has worked perfectly for the past 3 weeks. My frustration has ended!!! Thanks StarTech! 5 |

I resisted buying a new ScanSnap since my old one is still going strong and usable on Mac OS High Sierra but I have upgraded to a M1Max running Monterey and decided I missed being able to just scan when I wanted to. This is a vast improvement over the previous Scansnap both physically and with much more intuitive software, organizing paper work is a breeze with this and lots of options. I went with the plain wired version, no bells & whistles and it has all I need to get the job done really quickly. 5 |

This is the first film scanner I have owned and I am very pleased with the results I have gotten. I use a Mac with Sierra 10.12.3 and the SilverFast 8 software loaded without any problem. Scanning on the highest resolution takes time but the results are very good. I highly recommend using the instructional videos on lynda.com especially if you are new to film scanning. These videos explain everything you need to know in order for your scans to be first rate. 5 |

Having upgraded to High Sierra - it works! Else-wise, using virtual machine on my Mac was the way to go prior to this upgrade 5 |
