I got this for my MacBook Air 2018. I tested it between my Mac and an Apple Cinema Display that connects via mini-Display port. Works well. I also tried it between the Mac and an HDMI-cabled monitor. Also works well. Its very lightweight and does what it says it will do. I did not check the 4K compatibility. 5 |

Quite fast indeed. Heres the mix: Lightroom + 2018 MacBook Pro (2.7GHz w touch bar) + this SD reader + SanDisk Extreme Pro 95MB/s + big Sony a7RII images = quite an improvement (over same images & card into 2014 iMac Retina SD slot)! No complaints... 5 |

I debated and debated and finally upgraded from a regular Ipad 9 from 2018. WOW. Love how it doesn't slow down no matter how many tabs I leave open on it. It's made me more productive and acts as a 2nd monitor to my MacBook Pro. So far loving the purchase. I browse, edit photos, do language learning and it can supplement my MacBook Pro when I want to travel light. (not a laptop replacement, but close to it) 5 |
