I got three of these to replace the 11 year old genuine Nikon batteries for my D3s camera. The first thing I did was run a calibration cycle on each battery, using the Nikon MH-22 charger. All went fine. I put one of the batteries in my camera, and the display showed fully charged as expected. However, after some use, it still showed fully charged. Worried that the charge indicator didn't work with these batteries, I left the camera on for a few hours on a table. I even turned on the display light to drain more current. Finally after about 4 hours, one bar dropped away. I guess everything is working after all, and that these batteries hold a lot of energy than the old ones. I had also probably gotten used to my old batteries not holding as much energy anymore, since that happened slowly after 11 year. So far everything seems great. 5 |
