Macbook Air 2011 Docking Station

Used to connect my 2022 M2 MacBook Air docking station to my LG display. No issues.

I bought this to upgrade my mid 2011 Macbook Air and it works great!

I bought it for a friend who has just bought a new Macbook, and he didn't have any usb-c, so, with this docking station now he can use every accessory he already had.

This docking station was easy to set up. The quality of it seems to be nice and the docking station looks premium. It seems to be working flawlessly for what I need. I really like that it is light and works nicely with my Chromebook and 2 monitors. The packaging comes with UD-MSTHDC Docking Station, power adapter, USB-C and USB-C cable.

I upgraded from a 2011 Macbook Air. It ran great but was too old for updates. So I decided it was time for an upgrade, and settled for the M3. I wouldn’t do less than 18gb Ram, I don’t know why Apple even offers those? For the price, I am happy with the purchase and will use it for many years! I don’t do video/graphics, otherwise I would definitely recommend higher specs. I do some audio stuff and have maybe 10-15 tabs open at once. I all my files within a few hours from my old mac no problem. No need to pay for that service. Also I would skip the apple care etc unless you are really clumsy or don’t take care of technology. These things are built to last. My last one still runs great (12 years!). Solid choice.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This docking station works well with a MacBook, the X1 Carbon of course - so it serves both purposes in terms of personal and business use! I don't need to think about getting another Docking Station for the Mac products I have.

This is a lot zippier than my MacBook pro. I paired it with a Thunderbolt 4 docking station, because the ports are limited. The docking station has a SSD, which expands the storage of the Mini.
