I have an older 2014 MacBook Air & updated it earlier this year which resulted in my mac running slower than before the update. I decided to purchase a new battery to fix this problem. Love this item as I have a MacBook Air and there are only thunderbolt ports , I use this hub for ethernet high speeds at my desk along with the HDMI cable to connect to my monitor and the USB for my files all at the same time!! it looks big in the pics buts Super light and small I give it 10 out of 10! 5 |

I'm using this with my older Macbook pro that does not have USB-C or ethernet ports. I just plugged this adapter in my USB-A port and it worked right away. The computer saw it and connected to my network without any issues. This will come in super handy when I need the fastest signal possible. Or if the wireless connection is spotty. I did a speed test with this adapter connected and I was getting over 500 mbps upload and download speeds on my work network connection, which is as fast as I can expect to get. I'm happy with this adapter and it would be hard to beat at this price. This is a very affordable solution if your computer does not have its own ethernet port. I needed to attach an Ethernet cable to a MacBook (of course no ports on the MacBook) so I got this with an adapter so I could use the cable and then the adapter with USB to plug into the laptop. Once the correct driver was installed for the MacBook / adapter all worked great. Instructions for all could be better. Thanks to B&H for super advice and support! 5 |
