Macbook Air 2017 Docking Station Dual Monitor

This laptop docking station's compatibility is universal and it is compatible with Windows 11, 10, 8.x and 7, macOS 10.14 or later, and ChromeOS 100 or later. Plug and play driver installation via Windows Update; manual driver installation on macOS. Dock does not charge host PC. I have already recommended the Plugable USB 3 Universal Docking Station for Dual Monitor to many of my friends and family and several of them have already purchased and used this docking station to manage their dual monitors quite easily and they all love to use this device.

I bought this to see if I could get dual monitor operation from my HP docking station. It was very easy to install, and after a few display adjustments, went right to work. I am very pleased with the display quality, which I attribute in part to the cables construction. I would purchase this same adapter/cable again for other applications.

I bought it for a friend who has just bought a new Macbook, and he didn't have any usb-c, so, with this docking station now he can use every accessory he already had.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This docking station is just what I needed. I use it for the dual monitor feature and it has really optimized my workspace. The image quality is sharp to me for my day to day work. I have not had a real chance to use it during any heavy gaming, but I'm pretty confident it should do well. I'm very impressed how quick this docking station was to get set up. I personally ran into no issues. I installed the drivers, plugged everything in, and was good to go. There are so many ports that I haven't run into a single compatibility issue since I've set it up. Highly recommend.
