Macbook Air Battery Not Charging While Plugged In

Plugged the drive into my MacBook Air and it worked flawlessly without having to download any system software.

I've had no issues with this cable. Plugged it in and works. I use it to plug my Macbook Air laptop into a larger monitor. Having the extra cable length makes things easier and I can distance myself from the monitor if I choose to, or run the cable under the desk with plenty of length. The wire is nice and thin but feels well made. It bends, but does not feel fragile. And the connections seem sturdy and substantial enough to handle a lot of use. Downloaded the software/driver from the TrendNet website. Plugged and play after on a Macbook Air. I was getting 89 Mbps Download, 94 Mbps Upload on my Verizon Fios 75 Mbps Connection. Wifi is in the 50-60 Mbps range.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] While it costs a pretty penny, its totally worth it. I can run (2) 27" 4k monitors from my MacBook Air without any trouble. I prefer to run my MacBook Air in clamshell mode. It creates an awesome desktop experience. I would also recommend using a free app called Amphetamine. It helps smooth out the rough edges, when MacOS wants to go sleep.

No problems to report! While I have not put this product through any significant stress testing (10-35degC, variable summer humidity, no submergence), it has performed without issue over the 2-3 weeks since delivery. I have only used 2 of the 5 cards included in my purchase. All use has been exclusively with a Roland R-05 portable audio recorder (which successfully reformatted the cards without requiring a computer) and transferring to two MacOS machines, A 2013 MacBook Air with an internal card reader and a 2023 MacBook Air with an external card reader (Anker PowerExpand 8-in-1 USB-C PD Media Hub, Model A8380). In the unlikely event that I need to buy more memory cards, I will certainly start my shopping with this product and with B&H.

You have to have this to free up the camcorder. While one battery is charging you can still record with your second batery, which you need. The battery provided does not last long.

I love the M2 MacBook Air. The addition of the MagSafe charging port and it freeing up a USB-Port along with its weight and speedy processor (without a fan) and camera upgrade make this perfect for me. It hardly ever gets warm compared to my 2017 Intel MacBook pro. Just wish that the mouse cursor wouldn't disappear behind the camera notch and instead skip past the notch but maybe that's something that will be fixed in a future MacOS update. For me it's definitely worth the 200$ extra compared to the M1 Air.
