Macbook Air M3 Vs Windows Laptop

I was originally in the market to get a M2 or M3 MacBook Air, but I eventually came to the conclusion that I really didn’t need it considering the fact that my 2020 MacBook Pro is still in pristine condition. I then started looking into iPads; I initially thought, “What would I use it for?” But once I got this iPad in hand I can honestly say that I use it more than my laptop; the only time I use my laptop is when I need a second screen or I just feel like using a laptop instead. Don’t listen to the YouTube tech reviewers negative opinions about this iPad; it’s great for the average user. Upgraded for the first time in 12 years. Purchased/returned a Windows laptop, MacBook Air, and finally landed on this MBP. Great daily driver with plenty of CPU/GPU and memory for my low intensity needs. 14” XDR screen is gorgeous. And to boot, got it at a great sale price.

Tested with both my old Windows laptop and new Apple M1 MacBook Air using both CFexpress and XQD cards and worked very well. Also like that it has both type of cables needed for each laptop.

I'm using this with my new macbook air, since the laptop has only two portals. It's very useful for everything I need to connect.

I upgraded from a MacBook Air 13 M1 to MacBook Pro 16 M3 and love the bigger screen size. The screen is vibrant and bright enough for me to work outside. This one is fast! The battery life is better than my Air. The speakers sound great too. Certainly worth the upgrade for my workflow.

With the release of the new M3 Macbooks, Apple now only carries the base model of this Macbook Air (M2), which comes with 8GB of memory. Since I needed a 16GB version I started looking online. While I found the exact same model sold for the same price from B&H and BestBuy, I ultimately decided to go with B&H because of their focus on customer service and a clear mission.

I bought this to keep my MacBook accessories organized. I will be buying another one for my Windows laptop.

I had a MacMini M1 linked to two 27inch displays for my media production and was frustrated that my old laptop was not in sync (old OS) so when I travel I couldn’t work on projects. So during the Black Friday sale at B&H I bought this 2023 MacBook Pro M3. Super happy! Now this sleek and fast MacBook Pro M3 is the new “brain” linked to my two monitors and now I can travel with this laptop containing all my projects as I’m working on them.
