Coming from a 2015 MacBook Air, the performance was the first noticeable improvement. Working with a visualization software on my Macbook Air would being speed to a crawl. With my new MacBook Pro, speed seems to be a given thing and the true power is when I have to run a few heavy resource software. This small laptop can go the distance, that's for sure. Buying from B&H was a delight. I have not done so for a while, but they really dialled in the option selection so I was able to find the best machine for my budget. I was so happy with my purchase that I bought a second Macbook Pro for my wife a week later! 5 |

Our Macbook Air was won back on November 30, 2012 per television promotion. Approximately around February 10th 2017 the unit was not holding a charge for too long, The battery indicator would read replace soon. After researching the subject we came across B&H and found the Nu Power battery. What we liked most about the Nu Power were the instructional videos, reviews ,and the tools needed were provided in the box. The installation was straight forward and the laptop turned on immediately. The battery now lasts over 4 hours on a full charge and no battery indicator reading replace soon. I am using this as the primary storage for my base-model MacBook Air. Not only is it fast enough to provide the speed I need and be compatible with my speedy ultraportable, I can immediately access my projects and other data on up to four computers I use daily, bypassing absurd IT security restrictions that prohibit usage of cloud storage. Availability of this device negated the need for a larger SSD in my laptop, allowing me to take advantage of another screaming' deal from B&h - a heavy discount on the base MacBook Air (which I love). 5 |

Although I can't reach the full speed of this drive, since my MacBook Air is only USB 3.1, it is still far faster than any spinning platter drive I have used. The price was highly competitive too. 5 |
