Great for my MacBook Air. Plenty of storage, nice look and reliable

I love the M2 MacBook Air. The addition of the MagSafe charging port and it freeing up a USB-Port along with its weight and speedy processor (without a fan) and camera upgrade make this perfect for me. It hardly ever gets warm compared to my 2017 Intel MacBook pro. Just wish that the mouse cursor wouldn't disappear behind the camera notch and instead skip past the notch but maybe that's something that will be fixed in a future MacOS update. For me it's definitely worth the 200$ extra compared to the M1 Air.

Purchased as Christmas gift for my sister. She already has a macbook pro but the iPad Air is even more portable and perfect for her to take quick notes and for sketches. Reading the news and magazines is also more enjoyable on this device than on macbooks or iphones.

I was looking for a secure portable to use between my iMac and Macbook Air and this fits the purpose. Now all my personal data is on a secure portable that is password protected.

I love my new MacBook Air. Super fast, super portable, handles photo editing like a champ, and super stylish. It's the best computer I've ever owned.

For those looking or an entry level Apple portable, the 2020 Macbook Air is a good value. For you usual computer work like writing, youtube, Netflix, surfing the net, Zoom meetings, and for my case, some desktop publishing the Macbook Air is fast and snappy. It can even edit my RAW files from my Fujifilm X100f pretty comfortably on Apple Photos rather comfortably. It can even handle some occasional short 4k video clips from my A7III on Final Cut without much problems. All in all very happy with my purchase.

I upgraded to this 2022 Macbook Air with 16gb Ram & 500gb Storage from my 2016 Macbook Pro with 16gb Ram & 500gb Storage. So far it is great! I will say that occasionally it is a tad slower on some tasks compared to my old pro, but in most cases it is better and faster as it is a big upgrade and can keep up with newer technology that I use for work much better. The color Midnight is pretty, but I do recommend at least a clear case because it attract fingerprints very easily. It is also so much lighter than my pro which is a huge plus for traveling since I work remote!

I am using this as the primary storage for my base-model MacBook Air. Not only is it fast enough to provide the speed I need and be compatible with my speedy ultraportable, I can immediately access my projects and other data on up to four computers I use daily, bypassing absurd IT security restrictions that prohibit usage of cloud storage. Availability of this device negated the need for a larger SSD in my laptop, allowing me to take advantage of another screaming' deal from B&h - a heavy discount on the base MacBook Air (which I love).

The carrying case, used for my 13 MacBook Air is perfect. Including storage for the charger. Perfect!

The LaCie 1big Dock is a super device. It provides expansion capability for my MacBook Air which is needed due to only having 2 Thunderbolt 3 ports on the Air. I especially like the Display Port 1.4 output on the 1big Dock. And the addition of the USB port on the front is a big plus. I can connect my USB 3.x devices to the MacBook Air with ease. I don't need enormous storage so the 4tb 1big Dock was enough storage for my needs. I was able to re-format the drive into 2 partitions. One for Time Machine and another for data storage. Very easy to reconfigure the drive in the 1big Dock. I am very happy with the LaCie products I use. I also have a LaCie Rugged USB drive I use to transfer files. I will continue to use LaCie products on my Mac devices. Very happy with the design and functionality of the LaCie products.
