Macbook Battery Not Charging After Smc Reset

I just replaced my 2008 era MacBook battery with a NuPower replacement battery. Right out of the box the before fully discharging the new battery it indicated 65% charge level. This battery is lithium-Ion 54 watt hour, better that the original 45 watt hr unit. Easy old battery out new battery in. Initial charge cycle requires you to fully discharge the new batter before charging. The only drawback was it too so long to discharge the new battery before charging fully. B&H pricing for this battery was less than anyone I could find and shipping was free & on-time!

After ~5.5yrs, I noticed the internal cooling-fan began running full-time (quiet, but usually only runs if the batteries require charging, such as after an outage), and the usually-cool lower vents of the UPS were now a bit warm due to active charging circuitry. Then the normally 100% charge-level LCD indicator at times showed only 80% despite no outage. Time for a new battery pack! The most involved part was shutting down & disconnecting & eventually reconnecting all the protected equipment. After all was disconnected, out of curiosity I turned the UPS off & then back on - the charge-level indicator dropped from 100% to 60%! The old battery pack was in worse shape than I thought. Replacing the pack involved removing a couple screws at the bottom of the UPS & then sliding the face-plate down, then out. Then disconnect the power connector from the old pack, slide the old pack out, new pack in, reconnect the power connector & reattach the face-plate. Simple & quick! The charge level indicated 100% as soon as I turned the UPS back on - I let it charge for the recommended time anyway although I don't think that was necessary in my case because there was never any indication it was charging: the fan was off again & the lower vents cool to the touch again. My UPS seems to have a separate minor issue - a poorly connected LED that is supposed to illuminate the Power Button when the UPS is turned on. Instead, on mine, sometimes it's lit, sometimes it flickers, but usually it's off. The new battery pack didn't change that - the caution being that if the UPS has a more significant dysfunction, replacing the battery pack could be an expensive way to find out the issue isn't the battery pack. One last comment: Unlike APC, CyberPower unfortunately doesn't seem to have a recycling program for their spent battery packs.

After 13 years, the original Sony battery for my EX1 was only charging up one third and not holding it for long. Actually pretty good for a battery that old. Fully charged-the Watson is giving me over 5 hours of recording time and holds its charge. It acts like a new battery and at 1/3 price of the OEM, a bargain!

This is a slim, compact battery. After charging, I keep my spare snapped into my BC-TRW portable charger in the case with my camera, always ready to go.

I recently purchased this battery for a used Go Pro Hero 3 Black I was recently given. After charging this battery up and riding along with the original go pro battery and this one. After the original ran out of juice this battery did its job well. Even had power left after my ride which was better then expected. Love it so much I bought another one with the charging kit as well!

I got this to replace a 4 year old or so time capsule that was constantly requiring me to reset the wifi on my MacBook. I got this after all the good reviews, and, to be honest, I don't use half of the nifty features it offers. I am, however, getting rock solid wifi performance with no dropouts. And I plugged the old Time Capsule in via ethernet and turned off the wifi, and it's backing up perfectly!

I am very impressed with the fast charging Hasselblad Battery Charging Hub. I always take a spare battery with me and knowing both are fully charged is one less thing to have to consider before the shoot.

Charging the camera's battery is a must if you want to take pictures!
