Having the LCD screen makes the charger a much better tool than the standard blinking light setup on original unit. Ability to charge 2 batteries at once a bonus as well.

I am a professional wedding photographer, and batteries and chargers matter! This charger is very efficient. I really like the blinking lights and how it lets you know when it is close to being fully charged.

It's a battery charger, and it charges batteries. It's better than that Nikon one because 1) it charges two at a time and 2) it shows the charge status for each battery, rather than just blinking. I think it's faster than the Nikon chargers.

The charger itself is excellent. It has a nice compact design that gits in everywhere. I like the blinking light because it really helps me know when the battery is all set and charged. The only negative are the cost...$45!? Oh well. Also, it can sometimes take up a lot of outlet space when plugged in if if covers space up. But that's also avoidable.

Red...Green...Blue...White...Cyan...Magenta...Amber...Orange...you pick and choose. Fire up DMX and not only do you have a nice color palette, but unlike nearly every derby effect light out there you can actually dim the intensity of each color! Really works well when combined with static lighting to get just enough movement blended into your look. Loving it so far!

Used in a church sanctuary to send HDMI long distances and does it job. The green/orange/red indicator is very handy as well as the surface mounting hardware.

Used in a church sanctuary with DGK6 cable. Signals are excellent. Red/Orange/Green indicator is especially handy as well as the surface mounting hardware.

I may be dating myself, but this reminds me of Pokey and Gumby but not orange and green. I've not used it much, but so far, it's exceeded my expectations. Hopefully it will be durable.

Nice little device. Let me save you some time and energy in getting the spec's on it. Don't bother emailing the manufacturer you just get we don't know, it's manufactured in China. This device does follow the DMX512/1990 Lighting control protocol. The pinout for the RJ45 is: 1 white orange - DMX + (pin 3 XLR) 2 orange - DMX - (pin 2 XLR) 3 white green - Secondary + (pin 5 XLR) 4 blue - no assignment 5 white blue - no assignment 6 green - Secondary - (pin4 XLR) 7 white brown - Ground (pin 1 XLR) 8 brown - Ground (pin 1 XLR)
