Macbook Charger Hub

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Belkin USB-C 6-in-1 Multiport Hub with mount has been a game changer for my home office. The multiport hub includes: USB-C, 2x USB-A, SD, microSD, and Ethernet ports. I use a MacBook Air and this laptop lacks the USB-A port. I’ve been able to connect the hub to my MacBook Air to utilize the USB-A port to read my USB flash drive data sticks. The MacBook Air also lacks an integrated ethernet port. The Ethernet port that is included with this Belkin Multiport Hub is a bonus. I’ve connected my MacBook Air to a hardwired internet connection versus a Wi-Fi connection. I have experienced an increase in data transfer speed with this hardwired connection. This multiport hub is easy to use and takes up little room during transport.

This hub really solved my problem of having to carry around multiple dongles! It attaches security to my 2019 MacBook Pro 16 inch and it has been very helpful to use when I have it docked!

This is a usb 3.0 hub that retro fits to usb 2 just great. I have a new Macbook Pro and an old iMac and it works with no problems.

Does not get hot and overheat. Definitely does the job. Easy to use with clean directions on the website.

I have one of the MacBook Pros that only has USB c ports and for that reason, I love this hub. This hub is connected to my laptop about 90% of the time. One hub adds six ports. I use the HDMI a ton, and the USB c ports are also powerful enough to power my still camera which is amazing. I love that the SD has regular and micro as well. All in in all it's a great addition to any laptop with USB c that needs more versatility. (I received this in exchange for my honest review)

Works with 16 MacBook Pro I have been using and loving the original Kickstarter version since 2017 so I felt that it's time for an update and this new 2020 version did not disappoint. This new 2020 version addressed all the minor issues I had with the 2017 Kickstarter version. - It now supports 4K60Hz HDMI (was previously 4K30Hz) - New magnetic grip (now the hub feels more stable and secure on the MacBook) - It now finally works with MacBook cases (just remove the grip) - Both USB-C ports now support pass-through charging - MicroSD card goes all the way into the hub - Now includes an USB-C extension cable (so you can use it with any USB-C device, not just the MacBook - Free leather pouch to keep everything nice and neat I have been using this 2020 version for more than a week and absolutely love it. There are many copycats in the market that copied the 2017 version so they still have the same old issues. HyperDrive has always been a pioneer and probably just came out with the best USB-C hub for the MacBook Pro/Air.

Very, very nice piece of gear. I am currently running a 14 MacBook Pro into the CalDigit which has 5 external drives, a 27 monitor, speakers, and keyboard connected and still have a bunch of ports left. Works absolutely seamless, no setup to speak-of. The only cable that I have running to the hub from my laptop is a Thunderbolt which handles everything connected to the hub. Super impressive.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am so impressed with this new plugable. It makes my Macbook Air 2020 really more versatile and useful. I plugged in the HDMI cable to my monitor and it worked immediately after adjusting a few settings on the mac. I love that I can plug theUSB-C power cord right into the port on the hub and still have available an additional thunderbolt port on the mac. The quality of the hub being stainless steel and heavy duty power cord makes this hub feel like it will last a long time. If you have the new M-1 Macbook Air, this is the hub for you.
