Macbook Charger Power Converter

So far, I have no issues with the magsafe converter. After converting to a newer macbook I was afraid that my old charger would be worthless. To make the problem worse, I knew I would need a second charger to leave at the office. Luckily, I came across this adapter before I bought a second charger! The magnetic connect between eh adapter and the charger is VERY strongI'm not worried that it will accidentally fall off. Otherwise, I wouldn't notice that this wasn't a standard magsafe 2.

Has all the ports a modern MacBook user would need. I wish it had HDMI, but one can use a converter.

The charger can charge my Macbook, phone, and power pack! It's easy to throw in a bag and plug in what I need!

This one went in our office/guest-room/music-room/exercise-room (hey, it's COVID) and has been great for my MacBook Pro. I have a 15" MacBook Pro that technically needs 95W to charge, but this 68W charger does well enough as long as the load isn't high -- I notice the computer does eventually charge to 100% even though it takes a bit longer. It's probably not ideal, but it works! For phones and other lower-power devices like iPads and the Nintendo Switch, this is absolutely a fast high-power charger with zero problems whatsoever. I love the sleek compact design and the included USB-C cable is heavy-duty and should handle the full power. Excellent.

This thing has enough power that I can charge at least three power hungry devices at once, and it doesn't get hot. I can charge a MacBook Pro, a wireless speaker (it sucks a ton of power), and a wireless iPhone charger all at once. Even though other chargers claimed enough power to charge all this stuff at once, none did it. If I was charing my MacBook Pro at high rate, the brick would get super hot. Not this one - it stays cool. Love the look.

LOVE. LOVE. LOVE. That the power converter is built in rather than another separate box with another separate wire.

I use this along with the DC 2 - DC Camera Power Converter to set up wireless speakers systems using Sennheiser body pack style transmitters and receivers. This power supply was originally designed for video camera battery charging but when used with the DC 2 Power Converter, you can create AC power to your transmitters and receivers instead of needing batteries or always wondering if your rechargeable battery is charged. This investment to my company was WELL worth the money!
