[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Pluggable Thunderbolt 4 is the perfect addition to my MacBook Pro M1 Max. Previously I always had to plug tons of cables in and out of the MacBook ports... Monitor 1, Monitor 2, Power, Speakers, and more. I would avoid taking my MacBook around the house just cause I didn’t want to deal with all this. Enter the Pluggable Docking Station. So many ports! One one side...1 HDMI, two charging USB-C/Thunderbolt, three USB-A 10 Gpps (rectangle), 1 Ethernet. And on the other side…SD card, 1 USB-A 10 Gpps w/ charging, 1 audio, 1 96W Thunderbolt / USB-C, and a power button. So more than enough! Just plug your devices into the respective ports, and connect the dock to your laptop with the 96W Thunderbolt / USB-C port (wire provided with dock). While these type of docks can be pricey, if you live on your laptop everyday like me, it’s well worth it!

I got one from them last year when they kickstarted this project, It works great and is still working but I needed one more HDMI and got this, This new Version can charge on both USB-C ports and they fit on either side of the MacBook! So now my MacBook have 2 extended side with ports I can use!!! thanks Hyper!

I use this without its sectioned insert to carry a DSLR with a 70-200 zoom attached. A charger, flash, small notebook, pens and water bottle fit in the smaller side and front pockets. If you're not using the sectioned insert, it can also carry a tablet or a small laptop like a MacBook Air - you'd definitely want to use a protective sleeve for it - in the main compartment. (I can fit a 15-inch MacBook in the main compartment next to the camera, but it's a bit tight and I wouldn't carry it any real distance like that.) The open side/rear pocket is about the right size for a book or for a standard letter-size spiral notebook, if you don't mind it protruding a few inches above the rest of the bag. The strap is wide enough that it's comfortable even without any padding. The bag looks and feels well constructed. I haven't had it out in serious rain that would be a hard test of its water resistance, and I don't think I'd want to, but a light sprinkle just beads up on the material and runs off.

I needed an extra monitor for my 15in Macbook pro for use in music production. I had a 12 yr old Apple 20in Cinema display that was gathering dust. I purchased a HumanCentric Versa mount adapter for the Cinema and the Ergotron. Assembly was slightly complicated as the instructions are not super detailed. Once assembled the arm has completely fulfilled my needs. I can place my monitor in multiple positions, up/down, tilt, swivel side to side and importantly, raise it up, angle it parallel to the ground and push it back in between shelving. The monitor stays solidly in place however I position it & actually requires some effort to move it, which is a plus because I have no concerns about it moving suddenly/unexpectedly. The arm can be rotated a full 360 degrees if needed.
