Arrived as advertised. Easy to set up. Seems to work well over the last week or so and I've used it several times with my new MacBook Pro. As a photographer I appreciate the accurate color. I also like the function that allow two computers to use it at the same time so I can drag my cursor back and forth with my older iMac when needed. 5 |

Every time I bring my MacBook to work, I always have to bring the original little white Apple adapter, plug it in back and forth to home-work, work-home... Well, those days are over. Now, I can leave the Xcellon 100W USB-C Universal AC Adapter permanently on my desk at work while the original Apple charger is stored in the laptop's case to take it anywhere else. The original Apple charger is only 30 watts, which I also used it for other USB-C PD devices, but the Xcellon for being 100 watts, is much better. It will deliver intelligently up to 100 watts to whatever device that needs that much current, like a bigger laptop or an V-Mount battery and will also safely charge my MacBook to only supplying the appropriate current it needs. Nothing more. That's what PD means: "Power Delivery". Very happy with it, it does what it's supposed to and now I have two ways to charge my laptop. Also, it features a built-In Circuit Protection Circuitry, and if you live in a country that is 220 volts, the charger automatically switches to the appropriate wattage (110/220), no problem. Just bought a new M1 MacBook so my iPhone charger and my external HDs can't work with it. The USB to C adapter solves that problem and saves me having to buy new ext. HDs etc 5 |
