Macbook Charging Brick Getting Hot

Apple’s very odd decision not to include a charging brick for the newer iPhones is ‘answered’ by this product from Belkin. The MagSafe Duo Charger is also a great product ... except for the fact that it too does not come with a charging brick. So, my iPhone 12 Pro and my Apple Watch can be charged while the new cable is plugged into a USB-C or Thunderbolt port ‘when’ ... such port is powered. Put it into the iMac or MacBook on the desk except ... the Mac goes to sleep and poof, you wake up with no charge on either device. I suppose you could leave the Mac on all the time but really? This product does the trick. Low charge for overnight, fast for when you need fast. Dumb decision by Apple, brilliant workaround by Belkin.

Its great. Doesnt run hot at all if you arent overclocking and just gaming. Getting 60s with Dark Rock Pro 4 under gaming load, 30 and below when idle.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using this speaker for several weeks now and overall I am very happy with this product. I recently took it camping to play Halloween sounds for all of the campers. My first impression wasn’t so great through because this speaker doesn’t come with a charging brick. I can’t use my phone’s charging brick because it is a C port to C port connection and this speaker requires a C port to A port connection. Other than this issue I have nothing bad to say about this speaker. It can even be charged by my phone but I can’t use the speaker to charge my phone. The sound quality is exceptionable. It has a smooth and sleek design and I love the black color. It is very easy and intuitive to use. It has a built in mic for phone calls. It also has a mute button. I can answer the phone and hang up by hitting the phone button. One of my favorite parts about this speaker is that I can use Google Assistant as long as it is connected through Bluetooth by holding down the phone button and waiting for the Google Assistant to activate. It has a long battery life of up to 24 hours and it is quick charging. It has a portable size and only weighs about one pound. It is waterproof and shockproof which will make it perfect for poolside use in the summer. It also has a Sony Music Center app which is helpful because it shows battery life, allows for volume adjustment and has EQ settings. It can also connect to multiple phones at once. Overall, I am very happy with this Sony speaker and I plan to use it frequently.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Finding a good charging brick can sometimes be a roll of the dice. I've had one that even melted while charging a phone. This Belkin has worked great so far. I've got a wireless charging pad and a usb-c to lighting cable plugged in and everything works like it should.

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I like having a dock that is self powered. It comes with its own charging brick, and that extends the life of the new laptop. We purchased this model, to ensure it supports the new laptops specifications. It contains all the legacy input output someone would expect. It’s USB-C interface should work with almost any other Lenovo device. Mind you, I do miss the Lenovo/IBM desk dock. I guess I/O technology must evolve.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This 30w charging brick works great for my Pixel 6 Pro! It charges a little faster than my old one. I like that the prongs folds up so it's even smaller for traveling. It's well made and should last forever.

Got this to use with the ZOOM Q2N video camera. Chose this over a charging brick for the integrated camera and tripod mount , You will need your cell phone USB charge wire. A 10 inch micro USB charge & sync cable and Panasonic Eneloop Pro AA batteries is a perfect set up,

This is far superior to the brick and plug that comes with the camera. With the extra battery and this adapter, I can always have a fresh battery to shoot with while the other is charging.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great charging brick. It has two USB-C ports. Top port is rated at 18W while the bottom port is rated between 50 – 60w MAX. I’m able to “quick charge” both my S10+ and my Galaxy Tab S6 at the same time. This high-power charging brick also charges my wife MacBook without issue. It has a nice design. The power brick fits in the palm of my hand. The prong connectors conveniently flip out when in use and flips in for easy storing, when traveling. A 6ft USB-C to USB-C cable is also include with this charger. This item is a must have, if you have multiple devices with quick charge capability.

I'm using this dock with a MacBook Pro 15" Retina with TouchBar, a MacBook Pro 13" Retina with TouchBar, and a MacBook Air M1 with Apple Silicon. They all work correctly. The Ethernet is detected as 1Gb (measured as 743Mbps down, 810Mbps up), the HDMI is running 4K @ 30Hz, the USB3 ports work correctly, and my MacBooks charge if I have an Apply power brick plugged into the dock's USB-C port. The only beef I have with this dock is that the USB-C cable that goes to the laptop is a bit short. Note: it all still works if there ISN'T a power brick connected to the dock.
