Instead of paying 3-4x as much for a whole new MacBook charging cable, this little guy does the trick. I'll never understand why Apple had to redesign the Magsafe to Magsafe 2, but at least this adapter exists. 5 |

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This cable is capable of delivering 100W. It's working very well with my MacBook Pro and I use it to with my 4K monitor. The cable is not much thicker than an ordinary USB-C cable so make sure you don't loose it. 5 |

Ordered cable and arrived 2 days later. Was somewhat anxious about DVI-D cable working with USB-C. Worked immediately without any problem. If you want screen to work with closed Macbook Pro, Macbook needs to be powered by charger connected to AC wall outlet. Mine worked on battery with Macbook Pro open. Fully satisfied. 5 |
