Macbook Computer Keyboard

My working computer is a MacBook Pro 13 2017 4-port. I am learning video editing and needed more screen real estate.  After researching prices for quality 4k monitor prices for my laptop, this iMac was only a few hundred $ more, and you have a new computer to boot.  This machine is blazingly fast compared to my MacBook, and verified when checked with geekbench's free version, which is to be expected with a newer machine, and the screen is beautiful.  My only complaint is with Apple not making the wireless keyboard with the same size keys and spacing as a MacBook. Going back and fourth between machines, as I do in my daily workflow, I find my fingers overshoot on the smaller wireless keyboard. The new Trackpad has some of the same feel issues as well. Replacing a 2012 Macbook Air. Computer is mostly the same and the keyboard finally doesn't suck. What more can you ask for?

The macbook is a stunning computer and truly a great deal.

Have to get this! It is an important add on for an expensive computer like the new MacBook.

Was so happy to discover this Keyboard. It works perfectly with my MacBook Pro, my iPad and my Android phone. Some of the navigation still requires touching the screen on each device, but keyboard is responsive nonetheless, with keyboard shortcuts for the convenience it offers. The keyboard comes with a nice carrying bag and inside the bag there's a small pocket for the keyboard stand. I throw my batteries inside that pocket as well.

I have a MacBook and a Windows PC side by side with two monitors. I use just this one keyboard. The Flow software that comes with the Logitech MX Master 3 Mouse combined with this Keyboard blew my mind. I just seamlessly switch back and forth between the two by moving my mouse to the other screen. The keyboard follows the mouse. The Craft Keyboard has a great feel to it and is sturdy, with a little weight to it. Love the knob for volume and other app-specific functions. Works great on Mac and PC. Highly recommend this combo.

I really like the Apple Magic Keyboard for my use and purposes. The weight of the keyboard is more substantial than I had been led to believe, which is nice. It instantly connects to my Macbook Pro vie bluetooth, and the internal battery lasts quite a long while (after two weeks it still had over 50% of power left). I'm used to only using the keyboard on my Macbook Pro, so the Magic Keyboard is a very familiar piece of hardware for me.

This is the second Zagg Case/Keyboard I have owned. It’s the only keyboard that I have found that allows me to type as I would on a full sized computer keyboard.

This IOGEAR GCS110-4 4-Port KVMP switch is my first purcahse of this type of gear...should have bought one years ago. I had checked out one of the other brands, but the manufacturer's web-site had the same photo and description for two models, very confusing. I am using this switch with three computer, Win7, Win8.1 and a Linux rig. I keep the fourth port open for testing other computers, no need to connect one being tested to a separate keyboard and mouse setup. This switch allows me to easily switch between computers via keyboard shortcuts. I have a Logitech Keyboard and Mouse which share a single wireless USB dongle, plugging the dongle into the keyboard USB port of the monitor area of the switch allows me to use the keyboard and mouse on all computers. I did have to uninstall the Logitech software which allowed for custom keyboard layout (volume up/down, next track, etc.) as it seemed to conflict with the way the KVMP switch emulated Keyboard and Mouse Control...not an issue for me in this case. I am not a hard-core gamer, thus do not have a mouse with 92 buttons on it..more of a FPS and Flight Sim guy here. I like the fact that I can switch the keyboard/mouse, Vidoe and USB separately from the audio, that is I can have music playing on one computer, switch the Keyboard/Mouse, Video, and USB to another computer and still hear the music from the first computer. I have all my external drives and printers connected directly to the Win7 computer working as a server for all my data. I have a USB hub connected to the KVMP input which is accessed by whichever computer I am using for such things as my web-cam, joystick, multimedia card reader, and ID CAC Card Reader. I started taking IT classes and now I can easily do remote access, learned how to access Windows Shared Folders from the Linux box...and more, having the computers side by side with one control system is a Godsend. I would recommend this switch to anyone considering such a purchase.
