Macbook Connected But Not Charging

Had this for a week now and got it for my 2018 MacBook Pro. First of all, love the fact that this product is not a typical dongle with a cable and instead plugs right in securely to my macbook. The secure fit ensures that slightly moving my macbook won't accidentally unplug any of my devices. I have zero issues connecting any of the following devices: HDMI, Mouse, Keyboard, or USB-C. Also, I have connected the MacBook power cord to the adapter's USB-C port and it also works perfectly. Of course you cannot use a case while this device is connected, but the tradeoff is well worth it especially if you are rarely moving your macbook around like me. The color doesn't match my MacBook, but I could've opted for the silver (so that's my fault, not anything to do with the product.) If I had the silver, it would look like it is part of the laptop. With access to all my immediate ports, securely plugged in, and including portability, this is a 10/10 product. (I received this product in exchange for my honest review.)

Purchased this mouse to go with my new MacBook Pro. Connected right away and is very smooth. A must have for any MacBook Pro user.

I need this to use for my various gadgets to get connected to macbook. Perfect fit, original piece. Ordered it along with macbook at B&H, so got delivered together.

It is much faster for charging my Kodak Playfull hybrid camera than connected to a computer. It takes up little space and can charge two devices at a time, though not as quickly. It is well made with a nice design. It is worth the extra money and still very inexpensive at B&H.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Sony XE200 portable speaker is durable and easy to use. I liked that the speaker can be stood up or laid on its side. Connecting to any Bluetooth device is easy. The speaker gives you an alert connection notice when it is pairing and connected. The speaker has a wrist strap/hanging lanyard attached. I liked that the lanyard is a nice length. It can be hung on a doorknob or on a bag when carrying it around. The sound quality is crisp and clear. Depending on the song you can har the rich quality sound and beats. The button controls are clearly marked and easy to see. The speaker offers a charging light which is red but turns off when fully charged. The box includes everything you need the speaker, charging USB cable and product info sheets. The charging cable doesn't have a wall adaptor. The battery button is a great feature you can press it for a second or two before the speaker alerts you to the percentage of battery life left. The speaker paired easily with my PC and Android phone. It even connected easily to my Fire tablet. The speaker can connect to answer calls. You can also turn off the speaker function when answering calls. Overall this has worked well for me. After a few hours (around 6 to 8 hours of use over several days) the speaker is at 85% battery life. The volume control is easy you can use your phone or the buttons on the side of the speaker. I've been very happy with this product.

I have every USB 3 port connected to a hard drive and so far no interruptions with great transfer speeds. Charging hubs offer great charging capability as well.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As an iPhone 7 Plus owner there is probably not a more practical gadget to own. The fact that I thought there would never be a gadget that would let me listen to music while charging my phone was truly devastating. However, upon hearing about this product, I felt the complete need to try it out - and I can say it was worth it! As someone who's on her phone a lot, I constantly have to charge my phone. As someone who enjoys Netflix and music - I constantly have to be on my phone! This device is connected to where the charger would go on an iPhone and allows for two other contraptions to be connected to it. I am now able to watch Netflix or listen to music from earphones WHILE CHARGING MY PHONE! The connected contraptions must have the same cord as the typical iPhone charger. Connecting cables to this gadget in no way reduces the quality. The sound quality is the same and the phone charges JUST as fast as it would if it were connected directly to a charger. There's no "interference" or "cutting off" when it comes to charging OR audio. Only thing I would change in this contraption is that I would make the cord a bit smaller. I feel as if the cord is too long and it looks a little silly sometimes. Also, I would offer it in black as well! Other than that, great product and would truly recommend to anyone.

Used recently on a short film in daylight and night scenes. These lights are amazing. They are incredibly bright for their size, but the light falls off nicely. Having them linked together on the app allowed us to globally change color temperature on the fly in seconds. They’re tiny enough to fit just about anywhere, and the magnet on the back is super convenient. I can’t express just how much time it saves being able to point your tablet/phone camera at a light source or color and have all the connected MCs instantly match it. The charging case is also fabulous. If one of these lights got low I’d just set it down on the charging plate (also magnetic) and grab another one. Plus, the pairing process is so seamless it doesn’t cost you more than 30 seconds to get a new one connected and added to the group. And it doesn’t just charge the lights; it has multiple USB ports and a D-tap. The case is ventilated, with a built-in fan, which is very quiet. I know we barely scratched the surface of what these lights are capable of and I can’t wait to use them more on future projects.
