Macbook Early 2008 Charger

Worked like a charm on my 2008 early MacBook Pro. After cloning the old hdd to the new ssd, installation was easy. Read and write speed is like day and night. I also increased RAM ordered through B&H. It’s like a new laptop. Thank you.

Purchased this upgrade from my former Mac Pro (Early 2008 Dual-Quad) that was showing it's age in speed. This newer model takes faster (and cheaper) RAM, has upgraded PCI slots, faster clock speed and other improvements. I did not want to be a Beta-Tester on the new 2013 Mac Pro recently announced or buy all new peripherals, so I was lucky to get one of the last of the old designs while they were still available!

Got a free vintage (2008) Macbook, but the battery was kaput! Purchased this battery, followed the conditioning instructions, and, viola, good as new laptop! Saw some other cheaper batteries online, but results seemed mixed at best, so I decided on proven tech from B&H. Always the best choice at a fair price!

I use this pedal with an M-Audio Keystation 88es, and a 2008 MacBook running GarageBand. I had some issues using sustain pedals in the past, but this pedal works great. It comes at a very reasonable price. Next I need to invest in a keyboard stand :)

I just replaced my 2008 era MacBook battery with a NuPower replacement battery. Right out of the box the before fully discharging the new battery it indicated 65% charge level. This battery is lithium-Ion 54 watt hour, better that the original 45 watt hr unit. Easy old battery out new battery in. Initial charge cycle requires you to fully discharge the new batter before charging. The only drawback was it too so long to discharge the new battery before charging fully. B&H pricing for this battery was less than anyone I could find and shipping was free & on-time!

This will be my 3rd MacBook Pro since 2008. It’s everything I need and nothing I don’t. Seems like 2017 had too many features that I just didn’t use. Plus this one has an hdmi port.

Just installed this drive in an old 2008 MacBook Pro. We all know a 7-year old computer is considered ancient, but not with this drive! SSD has to be one of the most important improvement to personal computing in recent years and this drive is excellent. It's very, very light and a breeze to install. The computer is so much more responsive and usable and with 1TB, I don't need to carry around an external drive. It almost feels like a band new computer. This is a much cheaper and very effective option than buying a new computer. I highly recommend! B&H shipped very fast!
