One minor downside is that the keyboard doesn't have a backlight, which can make typing in low light a bit tricky. However, the build quality more than makes up for this small limitation. This keyboard is so worth the extra money. Touch ID makes it so easy to log in instantly and to use credit cards. The number pad is great to have, and there is a button for easy toggling between foreign alphabets. Truly fantastic.

I just upgraded my desktop computer to an Apple Studio and wanted a keyboard with Touch ID. This keyboard is wireless and has a rechargeable battery. The Touch ID allows me to unlock the computer, open apps, websites and process payments with just a touch on my finger. The keys have a nice feel and the battery lasts a long time. Well with the cost.
