Yes, it's expensive. IMO, the M1 and M2 Macbook Airs lack adequate connectivity...and I normally just use my laptop for web surfing , music playback through a home stereo, and light business document work. Just a note to say that the audio quality through the built-in loudspeakers is actually listenable in a quiet room...a vast improvement over worthless audio from my previous MBP, which was a now-ancient 2012 model.
