My external hard drive arrived when expected and in great condition (packaging). It was a little heavier than the Seagate I have, but that's ok. It won't be moved from office. I ordered this large drive for my fiance's laptop, to use as a backup for important files, and to store excess files not being used but once in a while. I needed the 1.5TB because of audio recording files, which are very large and almost wiped out the laptop's small hard drive space. It was a very easy setup, no problems. I was delightfully surprised that I didn't have to deal with WD software telling me what to do, how to setup for backups, etc. I wanted to have full control, and that's what I got. I'm very happy with my purchase, so far. Haven't had for more than a couple weeks, so we'll see how it goes. First WD purchase. 5 |
