Got a free vintage (2008) Macbook, but the battery was kaput! Purchased this battery, followed the conditioning instructions, and, viola, good as new laptop! I just replaced my 2008 era MacBook battery with a NuPower replacement battery. Right out of the box the before fully discharging the new battery it indicated 65% charge level. This battery is lithium-Ion 54 watt hour, better that the original 45 watt hr unit. Easy old battery out new battery in. Initial charge cycle requires you to fully discharge the new batter before charging. The only drawback was it too so long to discharge the new battery before charging fully. B&H pricing for this battery was less than anyone I could find and shipping was free & on-time! 5 |
