Macbook Not Charging With Non Apple Charger

Very useful pack with all the outputs. Can mount it anywhere. LCD is helpful. USBC is helpful for charging my Apple MacBook and other things.

I bought this for travel with my new MacBook Pro that wants a 140W charger. This one lets me charge three things at once, unlike the Mac charger. However, it only delivers 140W when only the MacBook Pro is plugged into it. If you plug one or two other items, the MBP only receives 100W, but that seems to be sufficient for overnight charging while also charging the phone, watch, or whatever. It feels well made, a little heavier than a similar 100W charger it replaces, but it's the close to the same dimensions, which are smaller than the Apple charger that comes with the MacBook Pro.

This charger looks and feels like a very high-quality item.  I have no issues charging my Apple iPhone 11, Watch (5th gen) and AirPods Pro.  I had previously purchased this same item in white for my wife.  She has been using for several months now with no issues.  The only minor complaint I have is with the watch magnet, which while sufficient could be slightly stronger.  There are many cheaper options out there, but given the value of my three devices, I wouldn’t risk purchasing a knock-off product from an unknown Chinese company.

I love that I can plug two devices in at once and still be able to have the fast charging capability. It is larger than a typical iPhone charging block but that does not bother me.

I was previously using an apple charging cable that eventually broke, so i was so glad to receive this from influenster. It is very long and durable, and charges my devices sooo fast. Love this charger highly recommend!

Every time I bring my MacBook to work, I always have to bring the original little white Apple adapter, plug it in back and forth to home-work, work-home... Well, those days are over. Now, I can leave the Xcellon 100W USB-C Universal AC Adapter permanently on my desk at work while the original Apple charger is stored in the laptop's case to take it anywhere else. The original Apple charger is only 30 watts, which I also used it for other USB-C PD devices, but the Xcellon for being 100 watts, is much better. It will deliver intelligently up to 100 watts to whatever device that needs that much current, like a bigger laptop or an V-Mount battery and will also safely charge my MacBook to only supplying the appropriate current it needs. Nothing more. That's what PD means: "Power Delivery". Very happy with it, it does what it's supposed to and now I have two ways to charge my laptop. Also, it features a built-In Circuit Protection Circuitry, and if you live in a country that is 220 volts, the charger automatically switches to the appropriate wattage (110/220), no problem. When you buy a MacBook Pro it comes in exceptionally nice sturdy packaging. The packaging is meant to not only hold the laptop firmly and safely in place it also holds the wall charger as well as an extension cord for the wall charger designed for a standard 3-prong wall socket. With this Pelican case you can remove the appropriate foam within the Pelican case in order to set the MacBook Pro packaging (i.e. the box the computer comes in) right in the center of the case. See attached pictures. Fits perfectly and with just the Apple packaging showing in the foam it looks ultra professional. Yet everything is sitting in the packaging as it comes from Apple. No need to cut out multiple pieces of foam in order for the laptop and included items. Simply cut out a rectangular chunk the size of the Apple packaging and you're good to go!! Sure it's only a case but I love it! I take excellent care of what I own and the laptop gets carried around every day and there is no worry about damaging it any longer. Combine the above by making the purchase through B&H and you're ready to travel without fear.

This is a very nicely made charger and will keep all of your devices charged. I have tested it on my 16 Apple Silicon MacBook Pro. It will charge the MacBook Pro at 100 Watts so it can also handle an iPhone, Watch and iPad. Very compact and the 6 foot extension cord is a great idea as it makes it easy to use for international travel.

Do everything that do my MacBook charger, but this one is cheaper and more compact. One bad thing - can't change plug to european (apple's can), must use an adapter that is not so solid and handy.
