Macbook Pro 14 Charges But No Display

Charges MacBook Pro 16 pro max and display port works. Data transfer tests seems to have a peak under specs but close. Little pricey.

I ordered a new MacBook 14, Space Black with M3 Pro from B&H and couldn't be happier. The MacBook is blazingly fast and was only a small premium over the 15 MacBook Air I was considering. I originally had concerns with the 14 display (I run a 16 MacBook Pro/Intel for work), but the slight smaller size is perfect for portability when mobile, and when at my desk connecting it to dual monitors negates any issue with the smaller display. I'm also pleased with ordering from B&H: the order was quickly processed (arrived days before other vendors) and the price was great. I'll definitely look to B&H again for my next purchase.

So this is my first MacBook and I must admit that it's the best in industry. 14 is not that bad, not big nor small, perfect for a lap top. I tried MacBook Air 15 but I felt a huge screen where I have to look right to left side by side, no doubt in that, 15 screen looks so gorgeous that it's difficult to not to choose. However, 14 has more display than the edges and body, so 14 looks physically small but it is covering more display which is a win. Pro M3, I haven't tested all yet, but well, it must function as expected. I downloaded a game and played for 20 minutes and it's start getting little warm, that's normal I guess. Sound is spatial audio, you won't regret not having headphones if you forget to bring one, the audio of these Pro speakers is Pro. B&H has wide collection of MacBooks, they honored price matched too. I bought two of these, one from Apple and the other from B&H, and B&H rocks with speed of delivery. One of them is for my MacBook Pro 14 which I use Dual Display mode sometimes and most of the time the other monitor is for my Work DELL Latitude 3420 with USB-C and it's putting up a 5K Image. With the firmware update, the camera is good enough for me for Zoom and Facetime. These replaced my tried and true Apple Cinema 27 Displays. I love Apple Monitors, nothing else compares by a long shot.

I bought a 2021 MacBook Pro. The 14 variety. Love that it brought back the HDMI, MagSafe and SD slot but I was still looking for a solution for all my USB connections. In my home office I have a label printer, printer, web cam, and document scanner that all use regular USB connections. This device makes it super easy to just have a single connection connect to everything. I haven't utilized the display function yet but plan to test in the near future. I'm currently rocking a 49 curved Samsung display so I'm hoping the TS3 can handle it. I'm basically using it as a glorified USB hub right now. and I can confirm it works great for that. My cable management is way better now. I only wish the 14 MBP would take power via the USB-C connection so I could get rid of another cord.
