The Apple 14 MacBook Pro with M2 Max processor has been fantastic so far. Nice keyboard and sound, sharp display, quick and long battery life. Compared to my old Macbook Pro 13 with an Intel processor, this machine runs circles around it and doesn't even need to be plugged into power to do it. I was a bit worried about compatibility with the ARM based processor and some of my software but everything I use has worked either natively or with Rosetta 2 which has been seamless. 5 |

I bought the 14 Macbook Pro with the M2 Pro chip new from B&H while they were running a decent sale due availability of newer models. This was purchased as an upgrade to an old Thinkpad with a dying battery and there's a lot to love about the new machine. MacOS is a dream compared to Windows in my opinion and the small and lightweight form factor of the 14 Macbook makes it ultra portable and easy to carry around with me everywhere. I haven't put it through rigorous stress testing yet by spinning up any development environments but for light personal usage the battery has been incredible. 5 |
