Every time I bring my MacBook to work, I always have to bring the original little white Apple adapter, plug it in back and forth to home-work, work-home... Well, those days are over. Now, I can leave the Xcellon 100W USB-C Universal AC Adapter permanently on my desk at work while the original Apple charger is stored in the laptop's case to take it anywhere else. The original Apple charger is only 30 watts, which I also used it for other USB-C PD devices, but the Xcellon for being 100 watts, is much better. It will deliver intelligently up to 100 watts to whatever device that needs that much current, like a bigger laptop or an V-Mount battery and will also safely charge my MacBook to only supplying the appropriate current it needs. Nothing more. That's what PD means: "Power Delivery". Very happy with it, it does what it's supposed to and now I have two ways to charge my laptop. Also, it features a built-In Circuit Protection Circuitry, and if you live in a country that is 220 volts, the charger automatically switches to the appropriate wattage (110/220), no problem. I got this as a backup charger to my travel charger for my M1 Macbook Pro while it was on special for $39. To be honest I wasn't expecting it to work, but it does, and works very well - I've been using it this entire trip and very happily. My travel charger, meanwhile, is charging other devices.... Definite recommend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] All of our devices have gradually transitioned to USB-C or have USB-C plugs, so I've just been collecting USB-C chargers to have around the house. This one went in our office/guest-room/music-room/exercise-room (hey, it's COVID) and has been great for my MacBook Pro. I have a 15" MacBook Pro that technically needs 95W to charge, but this 68W charger does well enough as long as the load isn't high -- I notice the computer does eventually charge to 100% even though it takes a bit longer. It's probably not ideal, but it works! For phones and other lower-power devices like iPads and the Nintendo Switch, this is absolutely a fast high-power charger with zero problems whatsoever. I love the sleek compact design and the included USB-C cable is heavy-duty and should handle the full power. Excellent.
