Macbook Pro Charger Target In Store

This cable worked to transfer data from a broken macbook pro in target mode.

I have a Macbook Pro with a small Lacie external drive that I store in this case. The case is a little heavy but is completely bombproof. I replaced the shoulder strap with a more comfortable one. This case is a must if you don't want to have to worry about your expensive computer.

This is quite a great case. I keep my MacBook Pro in here. The case is extremely durable, and there are many pockets to easily store . It is quite easy to carry, too.

This is my second WD 1 TB drive, and I use them to both store and backup photos from my MacBook Pro (with solid-state storage). Even with lots of RAW files, the transfer rate seems fast. It is small, and easily stored when not in use. There is nothing about this drive that I would change.

Needed to plug in a keyboard controller to my MacBook Pro. USB C and USB B are electrically compatible. Why are there not more of these cables? I went to a big box store and a local geek store in the college part of town. At both places the 20 something kids didn't even know what USB B was! I'd think there would be a ton of people plugging USB printers etc into USB C computers. Guess it's just me. Well B&H had this cable. It works perfectly. More robust than I expected as well. I thought it was going to be a much dinkier cable honestly. Would buy again. Might in fact, just to have a backup in case.

I'm using this on a 2021 M1 MacBook Pro to store my music library and a bunch of feature length videos, to free up space on the built-in drive. Music and videos (1080P) play fine, with no stuttering or gaps. It stays connected through sleep/wake cycles. It seats well and it seems impossible to accidentally disturb it. Blackmagic speed tests show 70MB/s write speed and 90 MB/s read speed, so you wouldn't want to use this for something like a Photoshop scratch disk, but for less demanding always onboard storage, it's a great solution.
