I bought this for travel with my new MacBook Pro that wants a 140W charger. This one lets me charge three things at once, unlike the Mac charger. However, it only delivers 140W when only the MacBook Pro is plugged into it. If you plug one or two other items, the MBP only receives 100W, but that seems to be sufficient for overnight charging while also charging the phone, watch, or whatever. It feels well made, a little heavier than a similar 100W charger it replaces, but it's the close to the same dimensions, which are smaller than the Apple charger that comes with the MacBook Pro. 5 |

This is my 5th or 6th macbook. I bought my first one in 2003 and get a new one every 3-4 years, and each time I get a new one I'm impressed with how much they have been able to improve on them in such a short period of time, with this one being no exception. The computer dimensions are the same as my previous one (13) but they managed to make the screen bigger, and brighter. It's nice having the dedicated magsafe charging port so no I have two USB ports free at all times instead of needing to use one to charge. But if you still have a USB charging plug that will still work, too. 5 |
