Macbook Pro Charging Cord Fraying

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like this charging cord because it fits well even though my case has a small cut out for my charging cord. I think this would be best used in car chargers or situations where you need to quickly plug in your phone without much hassle making the plug fit. It definitely has a smaller input to the phone compared to other charging wires I use. This cord comes in other colors too which is nice to match up with where you are placing it. The black cord works well with my black car charger. A few people have commented so far about it fraying at the cord input. I can see that happening over time but I’ve had that happen with every charging cord I have used because as you plug in and pull out the plug if you pull at the head of the plug it’ll fray overtime. One thing I’ve used is these plastic cord wraps. They spiral onto the charging cord and strengthen the input point so that the fraying is less likely to happen over time. They are a pain to put on but once they are on you have a cord that’ll last a lot longer.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This cord is perfect for connecting to my MacBook Pro and charging my phone and iPad. The three plus feet is a really good length and the cord itself is strong and sturdy. I would recommend this to a friend.

I use this cord my Nikon D7500 and MacBook Pro for Astrophotography have not had any problems.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my second purchase of this item. The cord near the part that connects to my phone wears down and frays. I’m upset that the cord isn’t made more rugged. I own 2 of these Y jacks and in both the same problem with fraying. It is an expensive item. I tried to buy similar Y-Jacks but the quality of the clones is terrible. My Belkin jacks lasted about 4 years and still work despite the fraying. Though with an inherent weakness in the durability of the cable, Belkin Rockstar is the best on the market.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is your basic charging cable. Nothing special about it, the quality seems about the same as the stock one that comes with an iPhone. I like that it comes in multiple colors. It charges as expected for me. I noticed that some people mentioned their cables were exposing wires/fraying. My sister has this issue with her official Apple charge cables as well. Unfortunately these cables are not heavy duty so you can not put them in a position where the end of the cable is bent. I have yet to have the fraying issue with my cables, and I believe it is because I am very careful with the position that I leave it charging in. That said, it would be nice if it were a more heavy duty cable that could be bent any which way with no issues.

Compact, fast enough, type-c cord for macbook pro. Everything i needed.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This charging cord works so well with my MacBook. My phone charges faster than the normal phone cord I use (off brand not Apple). I also like that it’s convenient since my laptop does not allow me to plug any usb size cords in it. I plan on purchasing more in the future. I think the price is just right for what you get.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like the charging cord that came with my iPhone, but this PRO Flex cord is so much better. I love the sturdy construction, the 3 meter length and the magnet that allows me keep it organized. What a super idea! Just stick the metal tab to the back of your nightstand or desk, and the loop magnetizes to it and keeps your cord exactly where you want it. Sure wish I had this cord a long time ago! Charges my phone faster too!

I use this cord as a Tether between my MacBook Pro and my Nikon D5200. The bright color helps keep me from tripping over it all the time. It is also long enough to not have to have a stand close to the camera - which is more expensive than I can justify at the current time.

I got this cord to print from my Macbook to my Canon Pro 1000 - I print large files so I didn't want to do it wirelessly. This works perfectly for that, and if I wanted to I could sit across the room since the cord's so long.
