Macbook Pro Charging Side

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This cord is perfect for connecting to my MacBook Pro and charging my phone and iPad. The three plus feet is a really good length and the cord itself is strong and sturdy. I would recommend this to a friend.

I bought this for travel with my new MacBook Pro that wants a 140W charger. This one lets me charge three things at once, unlike the Mac charger. However, it only delivers 140W when only the MacBook Pro is plugged into it. If you plug one or two other items, the MBP only receives 100W, but that seems to be sufficient for overnight charging while also charging the phone, watch, or whatever. It feels well made, a little heavier than a similar 100W charger it replaces, but it's the close to the same dimensions, which are smaller than the Apple charger that comes with the MacBook Pro.

This Boost Charge TrueFreedom Pro model WIZ006ttBK is a great addition to any desktop, countertop, end table, night stand or any flat surface where you want to have wireless charging. The charging pad is made of metal and has some weight to it so it stays in place where you put it. Unlike other Qi chargers that slide all over the place, the TrueFreedom Pro does not move around. It is unique where I can place my iPhone anywhere on the pad and it will start to charge. In addition this will charge 2 devices at one time when put side by side and they do not have to be perfectly aligned. I tested mine in a few different location throughout the house from the kitchen counter to the nightstand. Its final location is on the my den coffee table so my entire family can benefit from it. With its matte black top and the polished chrome base it blends in well. The TruFreedom really take the guess work out of charging the phone. Just place it on the pad and walk away. The led indicator lights go from White to Orange when the phone is almost charged. The charging pad, instructions and power adapter were easy to remove from the packaging.

I needed an extra monitor for my 15in Macbook pro for use in music production. I had a 12 yr old Apple 20in Cinema display that was gathering dust. I purchased a HumanCentric Versa mount adapter for the Cinema and the Ergotron. Assembly was slightly complicated as the instructions are not super detailed. Once assembled the arm has completely fulfilled my needs. I can place my monitor in multiple positions, up/down, tilt, swivel side to side and importantly, raise it up, angle it parallel to the ground and push it back in between shelving. The monitor stays solidly in place however I position it & actually requires some effort to move it, which is a plus because I have no concerns about it moving suddenly/unexpectedly. The arm can be rotated a full 360 degrees if needed.

So this is my first MacBook and I must admit that it's the best in industry. 14 is not that bad, not big nor small, perfect for a lap top. I tried MacBook Air 15 but I felt a huge screen where I have to look right to left side by side, no doubt in that, 15 screen looks so gorgeous that it's difficult to not to choose. However, 14 has more display than the edges and body, so 14 looks physically small but it is covering more display which is a win. Pro M3, I haven't tested all yet, but well, it must function as expected. I downloaded a game and played for 20 minutes and it's start getting little warm, that's normal I guess. Sound is spatial audio, you won't regret not having headphones if you forget to bring one, the audio of these Pro speakers is Pro. B&H has wide collection of MacBooks, they honored price matched too. I use this as an external storage device for my MacBook Pro. I can keep it connected and it doesn't stick out far from the side. However, it is so small that I would be hesitant to carry it around in my pocket--and it would be awkward to attach to my key chain.

This has turned out to be a very nice monitor. So much so that I purchased a second one for my MacBook Pro. They sit side-by-side, are connected to MacBook Thunderbolt-3 ports on the MacBook Pro 13 using quality Thunderbolt-3 to Digital Video in Ports and there is five sizes of fonts available. Cursor moves seamlessly across monitors providing 4K quality viewing of 5 to 6 different programs running simultaneously. Literally no setup required... plug-n-play. Bright!

You are getting what you're looking at. A simple device to elevate your laptop (I have a 2013 Macbook Pro 13') and opens up storage under. It's perfect side by side screen with my external HP monitor.

This Portside dock snaps securely in place on either side of my new MacBook Pro. It allows me to read/write to/from my current USB drives and other older accessories. The built-in HDMI port is intelligently placed at the top of the unit. No fuss throughput for USB-C cables and a SD card reader is also provided. All this value for under $50, amazing.

Great monitor. I use it with a MacBook Pro. Single USB-C connection. Great to work on documents side by side or any task where you typically need two screens. Picture is great as well.
