Switching from i7 macbook pro this one really made a huge difference in speed. With 32Gb RAM it is easy to edit 45mpix raw images in Adobe Lr, C1, PS, etc. No lag at all. Monitor can be perfectly calibrated (used x-rite). Battery life is also good and new keyboard and huge trackpad are a plus. Only drawback is that B&H does not offer the bundle with 100w power supply. 5 |

So, after switching out everything from Win10 to my MacBook Pro, I'm heading out to the field and need a way to get my SD card images into my MBP. Since the MBP does not have an SD card reader, I just knew Apple would have a dongle for this, I mean really (!?). And so they do. No problems with it to date which I expect with Apple products. Just wish they'd have included an SD card reader slot into the machine. 5 |

Switching off and on a mic often has switching noises and pops which are a problem if you require control is required in a remote location. The switch unit is compact and silent affording you a mute or activation which is noiseless and is able to work with both dynamic / ribbon systems and phantom powered condensers.
