I Purchased this in order to expand the capacity of my MacBook Pro storage. My intention was to add an additional 2 TB of SSD storage. I was also looking for a FireWire 800 interface as my laptop is getting a little aged at this point. This housing fulfilled all of my needs and allowed me to add the external storage. I use the River 2 Pro everyday. It is very lightweight and quite with high capacity which makes it easy to power many different things on a daily basis. The design with the flat top makes it very versatile and is a big improvement over the the original River Pro. The ability to fast charge and the new battery chemistry are also a big plus. I also like the ability to charge over USB-C if you don’t need it recharged in a hurry. This is the perfect companion to the delta models for lower wattage appliances. I would highly recommend! 5 |
