Macbook Pro M1 Vs Microsoft Surface Laptop 4

I have used several types of laptop computers, but Microsoft Surface Pro 7 is more than I expected :)

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I downgraded from my MacBook to a Microsoft surface pro and one of the biggest differences was that the surface pro has less ports! This was a bummer and super difficult to do certain tasks. Soooo happy with the belkin mini hub! This is a life saver and I love how small and portable it is!

MacBook Pro is even better with an M1 chip... totally recommendable! The laptop is easy to carry on. The Retina display and the ultimate keyboard made a perfect combination. I like too much the headphone jack detail on its side!

I had a MacMini M1 linked to two 27inch displays for my media production and was frustrated that my old laptop was not in sync (old OS) so when I travel I couldn’t work on projects. Now this sleek and fast MacBook Pro M3 is the new “brain” linked to my two monitors and now I can travel with this laptop containing all my projects as I’m working on them. MacBook Pro user experience is worlds better than the windows laptop that I just retired. I'm also happy with the way the M1 chip is handling some pretty large Sketchup models. I purchaced this MacBook with the BenQ 27 display. Set up was easy and the flow between these two devices is seamless. So far, about a month in, very happy with this combo.

In my opinion, that's the best option for tablet PC available right now! * Silent - where is the cooler?! * Light and portable - even the complete kit (Surface, cover and the pen) is still incredibly easy to manage and carry in a small backpack or purse. * great quality material - it feels solid. Even the type cover seems solid (I am still getting used to the cover, but I am trying!). * relatively powerful - you get what you pay: it is fast to start Windows, run smooth medium-end software. High-end tools like Visual Studio and database development studios could perform better in a better spec notebook, but it's very easy to succumb to its power-portability rate. * comfortable keyboard - I am still trying to understand how such a small and thin keyboard is so comfortable... * finally a USB-C! - I have a Surface Pro 6 and this Pro 7 is a minor improvement. The battery and processor are slightly better compared to Pro 6, but the only item that I am really happy to upgrade is the new port! Microsoft please pay me to omit this! * The SSD is still slow since the early Surface Pros comparing with the competition... Why Microsoft?! * The battery only survives +5 hours if you decrease the processor power to microwave level. A medium to high workload finishes the battery in less than 2 hours. Tips: * I bought the pen, but I rarely use it. Despite that, the pen is very comfortable, runs smoothly in the glass and is very useful to control presentations. Of course, it's great for drawing. * I suggest the Surface Dock to optimizes your work. Just plug to add 4 USB ports, ethernet gigabit port, display port (even though it is a mini DP...) and audio output to your Surface. All that with embedded power supply, maintaining your power adapter on your backpack. * Buy a Microsoft Display Adapter! It is simply a MUST because wireless video transmission liberates you from wires!
