I’ve been rocking a 2012 MacBook Pro retina that was on its last leg and desperately needed to upgrade. I have no idea why I waited so long. The MacBook Air M2 16gb RAM is a speedster, makes zero noise, and hasn’t heated up at all when having multiple programs, tabs, etc. up at once. I’m using it mainly for data analysis and creating music, and not once has it had a hiccup. I was hesitant to order from B&H since I wasn’t familiar with them, but customer service was ultra responsive. I was worried about returns if there was an hardware issue, but they reassured me I could exchange it if something was wrong. Also great to get it shipped quickly and with a discount compared to other retailers. I would definitely recommend them if you’re in the market. 5 |

I'm using this dock with a MacBook Pro 15" Retina with TouchBar, a MacBook Pro 13" Retina with TouchBar, and a MacBook Air M1 with Apple Silicon. They all work correctly. The Ethernet is detected as 1Gb (measured as 743Mbps down, 810Mbps up), the HDMI is running 4K @ 30Hz, the USB3 ports work correctly, and my MacBooks charge if I have an Apply power brick plugged into the dock's USB-C port. The only beef I have with this dock is that the USB-C cable that goes to the laptop is a bit short. Note: it all still works if there ISN'T a power brick connected to the dock. 5 |

I'm using this with my new Apple MacBook Pro Retina. The USB 3.0 is blazing fast. Copying files to and from the Mac's built-in SSD is very quick. The drive is quiet and discreet. I like this drive so far. 5 |

I first tried using this screen with my old MacBook Pro 2012 with a USB C to USB 3 cable. It didn’t work-simple video stuttered and the screen stayed dark so I put it in the closet for a few months. Then I got a MacBook Pro 2018 with USB C/Thunderbolt 3 I went on the road and decided to grab this monitor and try it again for editing (premiere pro). It works beautifully. Stunning even.
