Works perfectly driving my monitor from either my MacBook Pro or my Mac Studio. Automatically switches when either is powered up, or switch input manually. One note: I had trouble with mix/match outputs from computers ie one usb-c/ one hdmi) , but changing both to usb-c made all good. 5 |

For any M1 Mac with a USB-C port (MacBook Air, Mac mini, MacBook Pro, Mac Studio) the Transcend will transfer at 10 Gb/s USB 3.1 Gen 1 speed and NOT 20 Gb/s USB 3.2 Gen 2x2 speeds. Interestingly enough, the additional provided USB-C to USB-A cable allows 10 Gb/s to the rear USB-A port of the Mac Studio even though Apple advertises the port to go up to only 5 Gb/s. The unit has a pleasant rubberized optional cover that feels good in hand and doesn't scratch other devices in your bag. 5 |

I bought this to use with my 2015 Macbook pro 15 and it works as intended (Full res 75Hz, sRGB mode) with a thunderbolt to display port cable. Colors are as accurate as my mac display although the mac might have just a little more contrast but in day to day usage, you really won't notice. Ergonomics gets a 10/10 and I've set this up at full stand height with vertical arrangement of the two displays. Didn't go for the PA278CV since my laptop doesn't have a USB-C port, it's pricier and the display panel is more or less the same. Overall, I'm really satisfied with my purchase. Highly recommend if you want a monitor for productivity and content creation. 5 |

I use this with a MacBook Pro and a Mac Mini. The Mini has plenty of outputs, but I was struggling to find the right docking solution to integrate the MBP into my home setup. This switch plus an ordinary USB hub has proven to be the right setup. The single USB-C connection really cuts down on cable clutter. Build quality is excellent and switching has been solid. 5 |
