Macbook Pro Vs Microsoft Laptops

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I downgraded from my MacBook to a Microsoft surface pro and one of the biggest differences was that the surface pro has less ports! This was a bummer and super difficult to do certain tasks. Soooo happy with the belkin mini hub! This is a life saver and I love how small and portable it is!

This MacBook is all that I ever dreamed of in a laptop - and more. Truly the Cadillac of laptops, the pro motion Retina display is a marked step up from my pc. Everything about MacOS is designed with efficiency in mind, and all of the features just work as they should (something important to me as I pursue a degree). My daughter has had several laptops by other name brands, then she got my wife's hand-me-down Macbook Pro. There is no comparison to the other laptops for functionality, dependability and quality, even using the old Mac compared to new other brands. She goes off to college in the fall and we wanted her to have the latest and greatest Macbook pro. This one fills the bill and does not disappoint. She is thrilled and took to Catalina like a duck to water. Had to buy a rose gold hard shell and keyboard overlay to make it her's. Apple does it again, and she is happy. As are we.

I have gotten used to a trackpad on MacBook Pro laptops so it is nice to have a trackpad for an Apple desktop. Pairs easily to computer by plugging in with included Lightning charge cable (another Lightning connector device - wish they would standardize to USB-C/Thunderbolt on all their devices and save different cables to have piled up on desk or in a drawer).

Perfect for Macbook Pro, since apple removed all connectivity from their laptops except for the type C ports. Very fast download speeds.

Nicely done on the PRO VS EVO. The PRO actually does have a full 1TB available, VS the EVO's 960GB after formatting.

I've been using Microsoft Surface laptops for personal and business use for years, and I've got no complaints. I like my hardware and software to be made by the same company so there's less bloatware. I don't use the laptop to game, edit videos, or anything intensive. (Unless you count having multiple tabs of Google Chrome open.) The machine runs smoothly. No complaints there. The angular metal exterior looks and feels great. It says professional without being as boxy as a ThinkPad.

I had two laptops that were no more than three years old and after the upgrade to Microsoft windows 11 they just seem to slow down. The simple fix was to put two of these drives in the two computers and then clean load Microsoft windows 11 - 64 bit The difference was unbelievable it was almost like a totally different computer and also with a new operating system. These are such a wonderful set of drives and do just fine performance and affordability
