I bought this Flash Drive as a traveling backup for my photos. Typically, I take between 100Gb and 200Gb of photos on a trip so this gives me plenty of space. The small size is ideal as is the light weight. I connected it to my MacbookPro USB-C using a Uni 4 port USB-A to USB-C hub with no problems.I ran a quick test when I received the drive and it took 2 minutes to transfer just over 15Gb (212 files) from my MacbookPro to the drive. So it's pretty fast. It took just two days to get here (Arizona) from B&H and was cheaper than buying from Amazon. So I'm a happy camper. 5 |

I use this drive for Time Machine backup for my 13 MacBookPro. I used the Apple Disc Utility to format the disk first, and it has worked perfectly. Because my MacBookPro is an older model and has USB2, FireWire and Thunderbolt ports, and this WD drive has USB 3, I had to buy a Thunderbolt to USB 3 adapter to get high speed data transfer to the drive. Unfortunately, these adapters are expensive. I wish this drive had a light to show when the disc is active (the previous WD external drive I used had a light, I replaced it only because it was full and I want to keep old backups). 5 |

Our 2012 MacBookPRO OS High Sierra has 2 USB-3 ports & now an 8TB Samsung SSD drive with SATA connection $760. With YouTube tutorials I also installed 16GB RAM via DMS $68 in 69 minutes - the Apple Genius would have done it in 12 minutes. It is a monster. Thank you B&H. 5 |

This is a well-made go-to accessory for a MacBookPro, which has only 4 USB-C type ports. It has 4 conventional USB ports, an ethernet port, and an SD Card reader. Life is good. 5 |
