Macintosh Computer Spec 1980

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I hadmy computer made to my spec's which were not all that extravagant. Computer is well built and attractive. Runs silently and works perfectly. Much faster than my laptop with about the same spec's.

This MacBook is fast. I've owned a Macintosh computer since the early fat Macs came out back in 1984. This one blows everything away. Everything I throw at it works so smoothly. Even Zoom backgrounds work great without a green screen. Transferring everything from my previous MacBook was trivial and took less than 15 minutes transferring via wifi.

It works with my Macintosh laptop computer. Now when I give a PowerPoint presentation I can stand in the front of the room, control PowerPoint without having to appoint a flipper, and highlight things on the screen.

I've used Kensington track balls since we bought our first home computer in the mid 1980's. When our most recent trackball failed after more than five years of daily use, there was no question what we would buy to replace it. I have tried thumb balls and regular mice, but will always come back to Kensington, especially the Expert Pro. You feel so much in control, can change settings to each users preferences, and the newer optical model is extremely smooth.

This is the most significant innovation since the Macintosh itself was introduced.

Switching from my MBA to a MBP. Satisfied which is what you've come to expect from an Apple device. This computer as spec'd is a powerhouse. No thermal throttling whatsoever. One of the best screens available on any laptop of this size. B&H as usual is a delight to shop in. From prices, customer service to shipping is a breeze.

After reading the spec's, has done everything I've asked. Well built and travels well in my computer bag. All MAC environment.

When adding a new computer to my set up, I needed a mini-DisplayPort-to-mini-DisplayPort cable to connect the computer to my existing monitor. When shopping for the cable, I found a number that were 1/3 the price, but they all said that they didn't completely met the spec. The B&H cable description proudly announced that the cable exceeds the spec. And, as always, the part I ordered arrived on time.
